Delta Services Group (Delta) is a transit consulting firm in Newtown PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.  Delta recently acquired the operations of TransTec Transport and Technology Consulting, Inc., a German owned subsidiary of a European consulting company of the same name.

TransTec, which was originally founded in 1986 to market the technical knowledge of üstra, the transit agency of Hannover, Germany, began operations in Chicago and moved to Pennsylvania in 1999.  Much of the expertise at üstra was based on research and development projects carried out in Germany in the early to mid-1980s.  The TransTec practice was centered on bringing this experience from Europe to the US.

Although TransTec made a strategic decision to focus on growth in Europe, Delta currently maintains a close relationship with our European colleagues through their international business consortium, Light Rail Transit Consulting (LRTC).  This group of four powerful EU consulting and design firms works around the globe on transit and light rail consulting.
